Case Study: Giving the Gift of Financial Literacy to the Youngest of Readers

Case Study: Getting Children Reading with BookTrust

BookTrust, the UK’s largest children’s reading charity, approached us for a proposal of titles for their Early Years Targeted Offer, aimed at newborns and toddlers.

We compiled a range of suitable titles that also met BookTrust's strict budget requirements through custom specification changes. We are proud to have supported their mission to get children reading and develop a love for books from a young age.



Case Study: Birds, Butterflies, and Trees: A Loyalty Gift Success Story

We partnered with the world's largest charity lottery to create a book as a loyalty gift for their members.
 
Previously gifted books had mainly been cookery books by celebrity chefs, however, in 2020 the lottery envisioned a more useful book closer to their mission and felt that the DK Pocket Book of Birds was a great fit.
 
We worked closely with the lottery to create a book that aligned with their objectives of promoting a just, healthy, and green world. Our creative team adapted and redesigned the guide to fit the customer's design and mailing requirements.
 
We collaborated with a Dutch publisher to ensure that the selection of birds was correct for the Netherlands, creating an additional pull-out identification guide from scratch to enhance the reader's experience.
 
The loyalty book campaign turned out to be the most successful one for the lottery, with 2.9 million books printed and delivered leading to fantastic feedback from their members, and we have since created two other giveaway book products on Trees and Butterflies & Insects to further support their cause.
