Space: the Earth & the Moon (KS2)

Based on our book How to Be A Scientist by Steve Mould this free key stage 2 (ages 7 to 9) lesson plan covers the following curriculum aims:

- Use the idea of the Earth’s rotation to explain day and night and the apparent movement of the Sun across the sky
- Describe the movement of the Moon relative to the Earth
- Describe the Sun, Earth and Moon as approximately spherical bodies

This key stage 3 pack contains a scheme of works and six lesson plans based on our book What's Really Happening to Our Planet? by Tony Juniper, a globally acclaimed writer, campaigner, environmentalist and sustainability advisor.
