Author bio

Dr Emily Keeble completed her MSci in palaeontology and evolution at the University of Bristol in 2017 where she spent her final year studying late Triassic microvertebrates from fissure fill deposits in Wales. She has interned at the Great Plains Dinosaur Museum in Montana where she acted as a fossil preparator and enjoyed the opportunity to be involved in some fieldwork in the Hell Creek Formation. Emily has volunteered at the London Natural History Museum as a 3D surface scanning technician, digitally imaging the Pleistocene mammal collection along with some important fish holotypes; and also as a fossil preparator working mostly on a sauropod dinosaur. Emily is passionate about science communication and outreach and worked on the Bristol Dinosaur Project and the DinoMania exhibit at Bristol Zoo in 2017. She has worked as a freelance consultant and writer for DK. This is her first children's book.

66 million years ago, a massive asteroid hurtles toward Earth and' misses. Fast forward to today, where our world is exactly the same, except you just add dinosaurs!

Step into an alternate universe where prehistoric giants live right alongside us ' walking down our streets, swimming at our beaches, and joining in on everyday life. By placing these legendary creatures into familiar modern scenes, this beautifully illustrated, large-format reference book gives kids an instant, jaw-dropping sense of dinosaur scale and anatomy.

Watch a towering Brachiosaurus use its massive neck to run a high-reach fire hose, a Triceratops plow a farm field with its powerful horns, and a musical Parasaurolophus blast a solo in a symphony orchestra! Packed with witty details for kids aged 5'7 to pore over, this book reimagines our everyday world in the most delightfully absurd way.
