Anita Ganeri is an award-winning author of children's information books, specializing in geography and the natural world. Her 300+ titles include the Atlas of Exploration and Desert by DK. She has also spent many years working in publishing, as both an editor and a foreign rights manager. Anita was born in Kolkata, India, and grew up in England.
