Since joining the business, I’ve also discovered that people sometimes make assumptions about what we publish, so as Managing Director of DK Living (our Adult division) I want to ensure you are as exhilarated by our publishing as I am. 

DK has a long history of innovation, and our expertise and understanding of producing illustrated books is unparalleled. Our world-renowned, market-leading titles spark discovery, inspire and provide beautiful content – whatever our readers are into and wherever they are. I like to think of DK Living as a gateway, helping readers dive into their passions, whether that’s for cooking, gardening, travel, astrophysics, natural history or art. 

We work closely with leading authors, contributors, experts, and talented designers and illustrators to bring worlds to life in bold and innovative ways.

In 2027 we will publish the very first books on our exciting new lifestyle imprint, Paper Sailor. Additionally, we continue to make significant headway with our mono list, DK RED. Diversifying our portfolio with highly commercial and distinctive publishing helps us reach all the corners of the bookshop, through author-led content, inspiring personal journeys and true stories told with heart.
