A book I wish I'd published...
A book that really captivated me, and one I wish I'd published, is Felicity Cloake's One More Croissant for the Road. While I'm no cyclist, Cloake's journey through France's landscapes and regional flavours had me longing to explore new lands on two wheels, fuelled by local delicacies. Her ability to evoke such a vivid sense of place and palate, celebrating each region's unique character, is just joyful!
