DK was born from a blend of ambition, innovation, purpose and prowess. DK LIFE is returning to those roots with a strategy for growth in market share, trade impact and global reach. There is opportunity everywhere:

 

DK’s GARDENING list, led by Ruth O’Rourke, continues to lead the market for information, advice and inspiration for planted spaces large and small. We’re extending our slate into gift, impulse and garden memoir – with Dame Mary Berry, no less.

Our FOOD + DRINK list, led by Cara Armstrong, centres on commercial cookery and the ever-extending health, diet and wholefood category – featuring Christina Kynigos, Dominic Franks, Julius Fiedler, Rhiannon Lambert, Mariella Frostrup and Belles Berry.

Richard Atkinson’s NEW list will cross categories and enable us to publish for new audiences and in new ways. It is developing beautifully and just beginning to take shape…

The HEALTH + HOME list, led by Zara Anvari, is leaning in to the rise of the MBS and Handicrafts, Arts + Crafts categories (astrocartography or amigurumi, anyone?) and developing fresh concepts in wellbeing and fitness, too.

And DK RED, our narrative imprint led by Fritha Saunders, is not only focusing keenly on health, self-help, pop psychology and travel, but also expanding apace: we intend to more than triple our slate by 2027.

 It was my luck to begin my career at DK, and it’s my privilege to have returned with a brief to build DK LIFE. The potential is tremendous, and the excitement is tangible – here’s to our bright future, together!
